Bulgaria’s coastal resorts expect the visits of more local tourists in summer 2010

Bulgaria’s northern Black Sea resorts expect a boom in the visits of Bulgarian tourists during summer 2010, chairman of Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association (BHRA) – Northeastern region Dimitar Dimitrov said, as quoted by Radio Focus-Varna.

A large number of Bulgarians will prefer to spend their summer holiday in Bulgaria because of the financial crisis. The percentage of Bulgarian tourists who will travel to Greece will be smaller than usual, Dimitrov said.

According to Dimitrov, bookings for summer season 2010 are registering stable growth, but is too early to predict the outcome of summer 2010.
